DIENSTAG, 23. DEZEMBER 2008,
Immer weniger Christen in Deutschland
Oh Herr erwecke doch meine Geschwister in Deutschland!

It’s amazing to me how fast time passes. Before I knew it I was back at church teaching class 401. Out of 13 signed up we had 8 that took part. Which when you consider it is Dec. is not that bad. Now I wished we had much more, but I always hope for more. Now I pray that people will follow up and take the followup class that I will teach during Sundays.

I had the pleasure to listen to Mr. Kennedy last week while he was visiting in my Church. The presentation was excellent and I am sure that every church can learn something from Mr. Kennedy. I had the time to read the book and found it a very good read and I can agree with most everything I read. That shouldn’t come as much of a surprise since every point is very close to biblical principles. I especially liked the chapter on Hospitality. I think we could all learn something for the things that were said. More over I was reminded of some of my bad experiences joining new ministries. I sometimes wondered if things would have been different in my life and my work with some ministries if some of the valuable principles would have been practiced.

Good News! Karen and I got a call from Toni (The Lawman) today. After a little talk about application and a little gentle probing we were accepted as participants to the June class of the Ambassadors Academy in Los Angeles. I am really looking forward to it and meeting some people that I have listened to almost daily the last two years. It will be great to learn and witness with the guys. I am excited!

It is done. I submitted my training outline to the church. Now I need to be patient and wait what my Pastor thinks of it. I hope it will be not just good enough, but rather stellar. This is supposed to be a blessing to the body of Christ. So if something needs to be corrected to make it better that is awesome and more than fine with me.
I have a great Pastor and I can”t wait to learn more from him!

While in a sales meeting (my adds in the phone book are up for renewal) I gave the good person test to Mr. Smith. Please pray for him. While he did grow up in the church he was going to live a good life to go to heaven. I confronted him with the law and showed him that only repentance and faith would get him there.

We had Missions Services this weekend. Me and some other Internationals had the pleasure of doing the introduction in our native language. So my church heard me pray in German
(And no, I didn”t see any bleeding ears)

I have been tasked to create a class 401. (101-301 are required teaching when you join our church) 401 will try to equip fellow Christians to share their faith more readily and in a straight forward way. I feel the burden to do a good job. Please pray for me!
