Witnessing while waiting for my car service
Today I had to get the oil of my car changed. It was a perfect example of trying to have an open mind and eye for opportunities that God blesses us with. This is SOOOO much harder if you don’t prepare in prayer, so let me encourage you to ask God to send you people open to have a conversation about Him.
I took great care of taking enough Million $ bills with me into the waiting room in the hope I could hand some out. But I also took my Bible expecting to spend some minutes using my time reading the word. I ended up on a comfortable couch next to a big man named Otis. I overheard him talking about his car on the phone and was just going to give him a tract when he got off. But what an opportunity, here I was with at least 20 min of time and someone with at least at much. Oh the battle with the flesh… it is amazing to me how I still fight to make it a point of bringing my small talk to the spiritual. It is so easy to talk about anything and everything… but the Gospel. Long story short, Otis heard the Gospel and here is how. A small note, I did cut about 10 min of small talk out of the file before I went into the spiritual.
